It was year 2001 when Anil Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee starrer Nayak had hit theatres on September 7. And I remember I couldn’t get an opportunity to see the movie in theatres, as I was just 14 at that time. But when I saw it on our cable TV, I was glued with TV for two and a half hours. Tears kept rolling down my cheeks to see a brave man who lost his parents in his fight against corruption. I have usually seen filmmakers making films by being influenced with the real stories that take place in our day today lives. It was a story of a common man, a journalist who while interviewing the chief minister showcases his real picture of a corrupt politician live on national television. And there in a rage of fit the CM offers him to take his chair and he accepts the challenge. From there the story starts and his fight against the corrupt government and corruption starts.
