Hospitality in foreign land!
Foreign land is as beautiful as its people. I always knew that people in outside country are full of good etiquette, but never knew that they are full of generosity and courteousness.
After spending my 'Honeymoon in Cornwall' I realized why India is still on its way to reach heights.
I won't deny that nothing can ever take the place of India in my heart. Even after visiting a beautiful place like London, my heart still longs for my birth place 'India'.
I have stayed at few places outside my den in India too but I agree have never seen so much generosity in hoteliers ever.
One can hardly see people on roads interacting here with strangers or neighbors chit chatting with each other. But once you are their guest, you will feel so glad to see their hospitality.
No doubt that India is a land of diversity with so many cultures engraved in its attire, but still when we talk about the good etiquette, its western countries that are running way ahead than us.
It was my stay at a bed and breakfast inn in Cornwall that made me think of the hospitality in foreign land.
They know how to keep their place, their country clean, you won't see a single person throwing trash on road. They will rather keep it in their bags or pockets until they get a litter box to throw it out.
The most surprising and I would rather call it a funny thing t hat I saw yesterday was that...they are so much into cleanliness that even when their pet shits outside they pick it up and throw it in dustbins on road side (Until and unless they get a bin they carry it in a poly bag in their hand phew!) . Ever seen such cleanliness freak people? May be this is the reason that you can breathe the fresh air here , you can see the clean roads as if you are waking in you room. Kudos to the foreign culture...! This is something I will definitely love to adopt!
