Hidden truth might get revealed!


26/11 or 9/11 … these dates have marked themselves a place in the chapters of our history. The cruel face of terrorism encounters these dates. Hundreds were killed in the gun battle of 26/11 Mumbai terror attack.

It was not just the death and destruction of a particular nationality; instead people from different origins lost their lives in heart rending terrorist attack of Mumbai. Two years have passed and we are still wandering in the bush! The only accused taken in charge is Mohd. Ajmal Kasab. While the arrest of the other suspect David Headley is still cooking up the aisles in air.

David Headley is believed to be the mastermind behind the 26/11 carnage. The blue-grey eyed US resident, who was born in Pakistan, had been planning the attack from more than 4 years. He visited India number of times in past 3-4 years and had been taking out the pictures of places, planned for the attack.

Number of evidences proves of his being guilty in the Mumbai carnage. The question that pops out is, when we have such evidences against the suspect then how come he has not been arrested by the Indian government yet.

News sources have said that he has been arrested by US in Chicago for planning out the Mumbai attack & the case is docketed in the US court not in India. Though the Indian government has not been given access to question him.

The dogma of the scenario has aroused many questions. How come the case has not been handed to FBI yet? There are several sagas to tell. Sources say Headley is an US agent, so, US may not want to hand over the accused, as it fears that the truth may be revealed, things that are hidden between the sheets might harness the reputation of United States.

David Headley has not been arrested by US for the first time. He was arrested long time back on drug charges and was later released and sent to drug enforcement administration, which had sent him to join Pakistan jihad group as an US undercover agent. It is still in shadows to state Headley’s status. He might be an US agent or a Pak agent; it could only be cleared after he gets questioned by Indian agency. America’s uncooperative behavior has aroused several questions in our heart. US is not handling him to India as it fears the hidden truth might get revealed.

India should take its stand on the matter strongly. If 9/11 is important to US, so is 26/11 to India. I wonder the uncooperative behavior of US may not hamper its relation with India. It should be made clear to US, that it is not about the US reputation, it is about the lives that were lost in the Mumbai Carnage.

Hospitality in foreign land!

Foreign land is as beautiful as its people. I always knew that people in outside country are full of good etiquette, but never knew that they are full of generosity and courteousness. After spending my 'Honeymoon in Cornwall'  I realized why India is still on its way to reach heights. I won't deny that nothing can ever take the place of India in my heart. Even after visiting a beautiful place like London, my heart still longs for my birth place 'India'. I have stayed at few places outside my den in India too but I agree have never seen so much generosity in hoteliers ever.
