Guru- The real motivator behind anyone’s success

"Guru Brahmaa, Guru Vishnu, Guru Devo Maheswara, Guru Saakshaat Param Brahma, Tasmai Shri Guru dev Namaha."

A guru in the Indian mythology is considered supreme to god. I have never seen god, but I believe there is a supreme power. But there is one true power, one supreme spirit that I have seen in this odyssey of life ... a supreme power who has given a direction to my life, a guru who has taught me what I am today. Every person who has brought a change in my life through his teachings, I consider him my guru.

For me my first guru, are my parents who taught me to stand and face this world. That’s how my life started. And since then several people came in my life and left an impact on my mind.

After my parents, my grandfather is the second guru to me. I still remember the day when I was in class 1st and he taught me the name of the nine planets. Though it was bit early for me to jot down the nine names, but I still managed to learn it. I did not want to but I had to, as that was his order.

And later that brought me accolades. When my class teacher started teaching that chapter, she was surprised to see that I was the only student who knew the names of nine planets.

My nana taught me how to write letters. He taught me how to see the beauty of this world. It might have been years but since that day there have been several people in my life who came and went away teaching me things that are still imbibed in me.

The reason I am writing about the importance of a guru in my life is.... today I met an old guru of mine. A guru who taught me to put my thoughts into meaningful words.

I still remember the day when I had met a man in his 40's ( guess so) at my third job interview after completing my post graduation diploma in journalism.

After an internship of a month each from DD News and Cnn Ibn .. I went to this place a hindi news channel in film city, Noida. As per I remember this man was the third interviewer of my life till that time.

I am never nervous in any interview, neither was I on that day. I wasn’t much aware of the on goings in and around the world at that time. But still was confident that I will clear the interview. I still don’t know the reason behind such confidence of mine.

There was something that I sensed, that came into my mind when I saw him. They way he judged me, made me realize my worth. My general knowledge was zero.

I came out from the room disappointed and sat at the reception as he asked me to wait for some time.

I knew that I haven’t clear but had no idea as to why he has asked me to wait.

And to my surprise, he offered me an opportunity to work under his guidance. And from there my life started.

He encouraged me to write blogs, to put my thoughts into words. He corrected my mistakes and day kept on going.

And one day I left News24 and joined All India Radio in 2009. I had no one to guide me the way he did. And I lost interest in writing.

But by god’s grace, he once again came in my life by chance and once again encouraged me to write. And here I am writing this blog.

I believe learning is a never ending process. I know, I have a desire in my heart to succeed, to fulfill my dreams, to make everyone proud of me and to make a mark in this world before I die.

There’s a long mile that I have to cross to reach the top ladder, and I know that God definitely has a good plan stored for me. I know I will achieve my dreams soon. Thanks Sir!

This topic is very much inspiring & my most favourite topic . So it cannot be remained unattended or unregareded. You have truely written the impotance of Guru in the success of anyone life as well as in your life. the great admirer of Guru was Saint Kabir Das who has written so many poems in the praise of his Guru "Respected Ramanand " like - Guru Gobond dono khare, kako lago pauo...... Some Example of most successful diciples of Great Guru's are :-
1) Arjun - Dronacharya
2) Plato,Aristotle - Socrates,
3) Alexander, the geat - Plato
(4) Tulasi Das Narhari
(5) Supriya (Bloomy) ---(Your Guru)
I support you in fulfillings of your dreams which will certainly come true . the only thing is regular motivation and encouragement , which you have to be obtained time to time from your Guru, well-wisher,parents, fans, etc. but donot include critics, as they will give you nothing except disheartening & depression. All the best !
